Keyboard shortcuts

To assist with quick navigation around Hornbill, there are several keyboard shortcuts you can use.

To access the list of keyboard shortcuts:

  • (On Windows) Use the keyboard shortcut ALT+0.
  • (On Mac) Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+0.

App toolbar

App Toolbar

The app toolbar displays a list of icons for the different applications that you have access to.

To change the order in which your apps are listed:

  1. Click the Configuration cog to go to Configuration.
  2. Navigate to My Personal Settings > Navigation Bar.
  3. Drag and drop the applications into your desired order.

Important

When you have more apps than will fit in the app toolbar, an arrow is displayed below the Configuration cog. Click the arrow to show the other apps. (Changing the order in which your apps are listed is particularly helpful when you have this arrow.)

Side panel

The side panel, located on the right side, gives you quick access to areas of your various applications. Some side-panel options are context-sensitive and only display when accessing particular parts of your available apps.

Configuration

At the bottom of the left-hand vertical menu bar is a Configuration option.

Configuration

The cog icon takes you to Hornbill Configuration. This will default to your user profile settings, and additional configuration options may be available based on the roles that you have been given.
