Request Parameters

The groupCreate method takes the following input parameters.

When sending a JSON request payload to the API, the order of parameters is not significant. However, for XML request payloads, parameters must be provided in the exact order specified in this documentation to comply with input validation requirements.

id groupIdType Required The id of the group. A sub-group can be created by specifying forward-slashes. (e.g. GROUP/SUB-GROUP/) but it should be noted that if a sub-group is created then the ID must end with a forward slash to be valid.
type groupType Optional
Default=general
The type of group to create.
options groupOptionsType Optional Set the options for this group.
name groupNameType Required The name of the group.
attrib1 xs:string Optional The attribute one of the group.
attrib2 xs:string Optional The attribute two of the group.
attrib3 xs:string Optional The attribute three of the group.
